Hi there,
I have just switched to CodeLobster from Anansi and am pleased so far. The only feature I really miss is shortcut keys for common html tags.
e.g. CTRL+I for <INPUT TYPE="">
e.g. CTRL+B for <B></B>
Is this likely to get implemented? I see someone else asked about a year ago.
If you wanted to make this available without having to code all the tags, you could instead set up a simple macro system activated by hot keys, and users could configure it themselves for the things they use most often.
Users could specify:
(1) text to go before the cursor position or selected text block e.g <B>
(2) text to go after the cursor position or selected text block e.g. </B>
(3) where to leave the cursor afterwards:
........(i) before the "before text" e.g. |<B>text</B>
........(ii) after the "before text" e.g. <B>|text</B>
........(iii) before the "after text" e.g. <B>text|</B>
........(iv) after the "after text" e.g. <B>text</B>|
(4) shortcut key to activate macro e.g. CTRL+B
If you made the macro file exportable then users could share their macros.
Just a thought!
